About The Farm

Dungeness Chestnuts is the Olympic Peninsula’s first (and currently only) commercial chestnut orchard.

Planted in 2015 by two women, the orchard is about 85 miles from the northwest most point of the contiguous United States. Located in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains, on the outskirts of Sequim, Washington, USA. Irrigation is supplied by the Dungeness River.

The founders’ mission is to contribute to the health of the planet and the local community by educating about the value and versatility of chestnuts, and by producing a selection of high-quality marron chestnut varieties and chestnut products to the Olympic Peninsula and beyond.

The Orchard reflects the values of its stewards and is herbicide and pesticide free.
