About The Farm

 

Dungeness Chestnuts is the Olympic Peninsula’s first (and currently only) commercial chestnut orchard.

 

Planted in 2015 by a second-generation farmer, the orchard is located in the foothills of the Olympic Mountains, in Sequim, Washington. Irrigation is supplied by the Dungeness River.

The founder's mission is to contribute to the health of the planet and the local community by educating about the value and versatility of chestnuts, and by producing a selection of high-quality marron chestnut varieties and chestnut products for the Olympic Peninsula and beyond.

The Orchard reflects the values of its stewards and is herbicide and pesticide free.
