Dried Chestnuts

One pound of dried, peeled chestnut kernals. Mostly whole, vacuum sealed. Can be milled into flour or reconstituted in warm water overnight and then simmered in water, broth or milk for about 40 minutes or until fork tender. One pound of dried, peeled chestnuts is equivalent to approximately 3 pounds of fresh, in-shell chestnuts.
